Breakfast Meeting of the Iranian UPS Manufacturers Association Held in Tehran

A breakfast meeting of the Iranian UPS Manufacturers Association was held in Tehran, attended by several industry leaders and stakeholders, including the CEO of Zener Engineering Company. The session provided a cordial and professional setting for exchanging ideas, discussing challenges, and exploring the future direction of the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) industry in Iran. The meeting began with a brief report from the head of the association, who outlined recent activities and developments within the UPS sector over the past year.

This was followed by an open discussion among members, highlighting concerns such as import restrictions on critical components, exchange rate volatility, difficulties in sourcing electronic parts, and the need for localized technical standards.

Mr. Sina Mirhabibi the CEO of Zener Engineering Company emphasized the importance of greater collaboration between domestic producers and suppliers. He proposed initiatives to enhance technical knowledge, foster joint ventures, and explore export opportunities. He also stressed the need for stronger engagement with government bodies and enhancing the association’s role in national energy policy discussions. In the closing segment, participants agreed on the necessity of continuing such meetings regularly and called for the establishment of specialized working groups to further examine the technical and economic challenges raised.

It was also decided that the association would develop coordinated mechanisms to pursue shared industry goals more effectively.
