NetMan 208
The NetMan 208 module enables management and monitoring of UPS and ATS systems over a 10/100Mb Ethernet LAN network, supporting major communication protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMP. It is easily deployable in medium to large networks and is an ideal choice for monitoring via protocols such as MODBUS/TCP and BACNET/IP. Without requiring additional software, the module can automatically send device data logs and event logs via email (SMTP protocol) to designated recipients configured in its settings. SNMP versions V1, V2, and V3, compliant with RFC 1628 and RFC 3433 standards, allow the sending of traps to other monitoring systems that support the SNMP protocol. It supports most network services, including DHCP, DNS, SSH, RARP, FTP, NTP, ICMP, and IGMP. The NetMan 208 module can send Wake-on-LAN signals to up to eight computers or servers whose network cards support WOL functionality. Like any other network device, the NetMan 208 module has an IP address, which can be automatically assigned via the network’s DHCP service or manually configured (static IP). The web service (HTTP), enabled by default on the module (port 80, with the option to change the port), allows users to simply enter the assigned IP address in a browser to monitor the UPS status and related parameters, and, if needed, modify the module’s settings.
